On September 20 and 21, 2008, Summit Pet Product Distributors held its annual two-day Open House Trade Show in Greensboro, NC.  This year's event drew a larger-than-expected crowd and had the greatest number of vendors on hand then ever before.  Over 100 manufacturers were present for the event which took place at Summit Pet’s 130,000 square foot facility.

During the show, attendees were encouraged to browse the aisles of our warehouse to view the ever-growing list of our over 14,500 catalog items.  In addition, a fully catered lunch including a salad bar and Carvel ice cream was served to those in attendance.  An onsite caricature artist was also present, providing free renderings to our many customers.  

On Saturday evening, our annual Appreciation Dinner took place in the Guilford Ballroom at the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel.  The Appreciation Dinner was held to thank our many customers, manufacturers and employees who have been instrumental in Summit Pet’s success.  The evening was be capped off by a special performance by Saturday Night Live alum Joe Piscopo.

After the performance, customers were invited to stick around for interactive gaming.  Micro Reality Racing, Wii games, electronic golf and target shooting were just some of the exciting games on display this year. 

Summit Pet Product Distributors was encouraged by the succes of this year's show and we are currently finalizing plans for our 2009 Atlanta Trade Show which will take place next April.  More details will be coming soon.  We look forward to seeing you there!
