Summit Pet Product Distributors, Inc. is one of the nation's largest pet
product distribution companies. We distribute IAMS, Eukanuba, Blue Buffalo, Eagle Pack, Merrick, Natural Balance, Nutro, Prices and Royal Canin pet foods, as
well as over 15,000 pet supply items. We service over 2,500 accounts,
consisting of retail stores, veterinary clinics, farm and feed supply stores,
breeders and groomers. Our home office is located in Greensboro, NC, and we
have warehouse facilities located in both Greensboro and Atlanta, GA.
Summit Pet's fleet of trucks regularly delivers product to our many customers in
Virginia, the Carolinas, West Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. We also
service accounts outside of these states via UPS and common carrier.
We provide many value-added services, including a well-trained staff of inside
sales people who possess extensive knowledge of IAMS pet foods, as well as our
vast array of pet products. This department includes our veterinary service
representatives who are committed to supporting veterinary customers.
Summit Pet also has a team of knowledgeable outside sales people who will work
with you. They possess years of experience in the pet industry. Summit Pet also
offers a variety of support options, ranging from rotating IAMS pet food,
setting up new stores, and assisting in developing marketing plans to further
the growth of your business. In addition, we run special promotions
throughout the year to help spur increased sales of your products. At Summit
Pet, we value our customer relationships as well as your business.

Summit Pet uses the latest technology to fill your orders and
manage inventory. Our team members use wireless barcode scanners that they wear
on their arms to scan each item that goes in and out of our warehouse. For
smaller items that we pack into boxes to ship to our customers, we utilize
table scanners and barcode printers that allow us to provide each box with a
descriptive label of what is inside that box. We also provide an overall
packing list letting you know where each item on your order is located. All of
this technology helps us have what you want in stock when you want it, and
ensures that you get exactly what you ordered and helps you significantly
reduce the time it takes to put orders away after delivery. Summit wants to
make your ordering experience with us as smooth as possible.
Summit Pet also holds two trade shows a year to support our independent
retailers. Our Spring Customer Appreciation show takes place in Atlanta at a
local hotel. Booths are set up by our manufacturers' representatives to show you
their latest products and answer questions. Food, drinks and prizes are all
part of the experience for the customers who attend.
In the fall, Summit Pet holds an annual Open House in Greensboro, where customers are
invited to tour our warehouse and view our vast array of products. Food,
entertainment, prizes, a Customer Appreciation Dinner and incredible savings
are all part of this important event.
