Does Summit Pet operate its own fleet of trucks? Where do these trucks deliver?
Yes. They are tractor-trailers. They deliver to VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, AL, TN, MD, PA, OH, NJ and DE. Customer locations must be tractor-trailer accessible. The minimum order for truck delivery is $300. Territory Map

Does Summit Pet ship via UPS to customers outside of the above delivery territory?
Yes. If the order is less than $500, the customer is charged for freight. However, we ship UPS or Common Carrier to qualified customers in the continental USA.

If an order is less than $300, can Summit Pet ship it via UPS?
The minimum order amount for shipping UPS is $150. Fragile or perishable items cannot be shipped via UPS. Summit Pet is not responsible for items broken while in transit with UPS. Also, the customer is charged freight for any cat litter shipped via UPS.

What is the delivery schedule for UPS orders?

Most online orders are shipped out the next business day.  To determine how long (on average) it will take for your order to arrive, please consult our UPS Delivery Map.

Can Summit Pet offer an item that is not carried in inventory?
Yes. The item can be special ordered if it is from a vendor currently doing business with Summit Pet. Also, if payment is made in advance, an item can be drop shipped directly from the vendor.

Can orders be entered on the Internet?

To enter an order on the website you must be approved by Summit Pet Product Distributors and be given a password. Prior to that time you can always call 800-648-7387.

How accurate are your images and descriptions on your website?

We make every effort for our images and descriptions to be accurate.  Manufacturer's provide the product images and normally the descriptions. In some cases, however, the images may include components that are not part of that item.  Descriptions may contain errors.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.  If you notice any discrepancies, please email marketing@summitpet.com
